Author Alicia Korten (Arlington, VA) is the CEO of ReNual LLC, a consulting firm that supports foundations, nonprofit organizations and socially responsible businesses with strategic planning and publications. A Fulbright Scholar to Costa Rica, Korten has led strategic planning processes and conducted workshops for the Ford Foundation, Levi Strauss & Co., the Inter-American Foundation, Johns Hopkins School of Medicine, the Smithsonian Associates Program, the Aspen Institute and many others. She was a contributing author to the Jossey-Bass publication Wake Me Up When the Data Is Over: How Organizations Use Stories to Drive Results. The Center for Community Change (Washington, DC), founded in 1968, strengthens, connects and mobilizes grassroots groups to enhance their leadership, voice and power.
