Focus on the penetration and usage of mobile device, with particular attention to the consumption of mobile video.

This report provides information on current penetration and usage of mobile devices, with a special focus on the consumption of mobile video. The report answers questions such as:
- What content are people viewing while on the go?
- What broadband services do they access? and
- What else would they want to do if they could?

Data is analyzed across various segments of mobile users (sex, age, income, race/ethnicity, preferred TV genres, etc.).

The data in this Focus Broadband and Mobile Video report come from three of our syndicated studies:

- State of Cable and Broadband 2009: 1,000 telephone interviews among heads of TV households in the United States; fielded in January-February 2009. The survey was conducted among a stratified random sample using cable systems as the primary sampling unit. The data are representative of all TV homes in cable homes-passed areas.

- State of Cable and Broadband Urban Markets 2009: 1,417telephone interviews among White, Black, Hispanic, and Asian heads of TV households in urban markets in the U.S.; conducted in January 2009.

- Broadband Content and Services 2008:1,000 online surveys among U.S. Internet users 15+ with Internet access at home; fielded in November-December 2008. Ethnic over-quotas were set to be able to analyze the data by ethnic groups. The data have been weighted by age and ethnicity to ensure they are representative of the Internet universe.
