Considering the agricultural production of milk in Russia from 2006 to December 2009, it is necessary to note a steady increase in production at an average of 1 - 2% per year. The average price of agricultural producers in the milk of Russia in 2009 amounted to 10.4 thousand RUR for a ton. Assessing the volume of production of packaged milk in 2006 - 2009, a slight decrease in production volumes should be noted. In 2009, on the territory of Russia were imported about 7,040 tons of milk and 6,713 tons of cream. The major companies producing milk, whose production is supplied to Russia in kind are 'Valio Ltd” , “Lactalis Intrenational' and 'Mlekovita” . Among the countries that produce and supply cream in Russia, the largest share of supply in natural and in value terms, is Estonia. The leader among the recipient countries of milk from Russia in 2009 was Kazakhstan, its share in the volume of deliveries in kind equals to 79.6%.
