Getting Started with Cloud Computing: Beyond the Hype with Infrastructure as a Service

This 27 page report is meant to help business and IT organizations understand cloud computing so they can best decide whether, when and how to get started. It begins by clarifying what cloud computing means today. But it does not provide just another cloud computing definition. After a brief discussion on selecting the right IaaS solution, a list of more than 30 criteria to consider during the evaluation process is presented. Each one-page profile describes an IaaS solution from the perspective of the service provider. Each profile also includes solution highlights as noted by the authors.
