In July, IBM announced the zEnterprise and its associated BladeCenter Extension. The attributes of the zEnterprise are crucial to many large enterprise customers. However, the BladeCenter Extension garnered broader customer reaction and attention and prompted renewed focus on the challenges of managing today’s multi-platform workloads.
