This report is carried out in cooperation with Fraunhofer ESK and evaluates the suitability of the iPhone 4 in business environments. The analysis focuses on functionalities, security and central management of the new iPhone.

Der in Kooperation mit der Fraunhofer ESK erstellte Report untersucht, wie sich iPhone 4 und iOS 4 in Unternehmensstrukturen einfügen lassen und worauf dabei zu achten ist.
Es werden sowohl die Leistungsmerkmale der Soft- und Hardware detailliert analysiert, als auch dargestellt, wie sich Unternehmen das Ökosystem – etwa iTunes und App Store – rund um das iPhone zu Nutze machen können. Ein besonderer Fokus der Studie liegt auf E-Mail-Funktionen und PIM-Synchronisation sowie auf den Themen Sicherheit und Administrierbarkeit. TK-Administratoren erhalten auf der Basis von Einsatzszenarien konkrete Empfehlungen und Praxistipps für die Inbetriebnahme, Konfiguration und Administration des iPhone.
Die aktuelle Studie ist eine völlig überarbeitete und erweiterte Neuauflage der in 2010 veröffentlichten Studie 'Das iPhone 4 im Unternehmenseinsatz'.
