The largest players in Russia is 'Rasstal' (CJSC 'TATPROF' ), Factory “Mosmetallokonstruktsiya” , LLC “Agrisovgaz' , OJSC 'Energotehmash” , LLC “Realit” , and casting-forging factory 'Segal' . These major producers provide about 60% of the total volumes of aluminium manufactured in Russia.
The volume of imports of aluminum in Russia in 2009 amounted to 21.81 tons, totaling to 94.03 million USD. A large share of in kind production is occupied by hollow profiles of aluminum alloys - 50%. Profiles of undoped alumina occupy 8% of the imports in physical terms. Other profiles accounted for 42%. The volume of exports of aluminum profiles in 2009 amounted to 2.7 thousand tons worth 15.3 million USD.
