Connection of the elements is done through bolts.
CMS were recommended during the construction and reconstruction of highways by the Federal Road Agency, and they worked well in railway construction.
Corrugated metal pipes are used for the construction of tunnels of various shapes and purposes:

In recent years, the demand for prefabricated corrugated steel structures was growing rapidly. The upward trend of consumption of corrugated metal constructions (CMS), established in recent years, was replaced by a fall of 26% in 2009.
