JSC RusHydro (RusHydro) is one of the biggest power generating companies in Russia. It is engaged in generation of power using various renewable sources of energy including water flows, wind, geothermal, and tidal energy. The company has a total installed capacity of 25,426 MW. RusHydro incorporates 55 renewable power source facilities including the Neporozhniy Sayano-Shushenskaya HPP, the 9 power stations of the Volzhsko-Kamskiy Cascade of HPPs, the Zeyskaya HPP, the Bureyskaya HPP and several dozen hydro-electric power plants in the North Caucasus, as well as geothermal power stations on Kamchatka. It operates many power plants all across Russia.
