Global Eye is a video surveillance solution based on IP technology introduced by China Telecom in 2003. Offered to enterprises as a managed service, it currently operates in 21 vertical industries and has recently been expanded through China Telecom’s CDMA network. In 2009 Global Eye generated CNY1 billion in revenues for China Telecom and has set a benchmark for competitors.
