The report is devoted to investigation of moulding sands market in Russia and Ukraine, its development under crisis conditions and forecast till 2012. This work is based mainly on desk studies which results were obtained by expert analysis of official statistics, publications in mass media, press-releases of companies producing and consuming moulding sands as well as their annual and quarterly reports. Besides to verify and correct some data telephone interviews with representatives of moulding sands producers were conducted. The report consists of 7 Sections; contains 49 pages, including 11 Figures, 25 Tables and 2 Appendixes.
The first Section of the report is devoted to brief characteristics of resources base of moulding sands. It presents data on the main moulding sands reserves and deposits in Russia and Ukraine.
The second Section of the report is devoted to description of concentration technologies and requirements, imposed on quality of the commodity products.
The third Section of the report presents data on volumes of moulding sands mining in Russia and Ukraine in 2002-2009 - on the whole and split by the main mining enterprises.
The fourth Section of the report is devoted to description of current situation of leading enterprises manufacturing moulding sands, including data on range of the products, volumes and destinations of supplies and influence of crisis on production development.
The fifth Section of the report analyzes foreign trade in moulding sands in Russia and Ukraine, including statistics on volumes of operations in bulk and money terms, regional structure of exports and imports, data on volumes and destinations of the supplies by the main exporters and importers.
The sixth Section of the report is devoted to analysis of domestic consumption of moulding sands in Russia. The Section presents supply-demand balance in 2002-9 months of 2009, estimates regional and sectoral pattern of sands consumption and describes the current conditions of the largest consuming companies.
The final, seventh Section of the report submits forecast of moulding sands market development in Russia and Ukraine till 2012 under crisis conditions.
Appendix 1 presents contact information on the main producers of moulding sands in Russia and Ukraine.
Appendix 2 presents contact information on the main Russian consumers of moulding sands.
