Listing in International Markets from a Law Firm's Perspective
Frontier Securities, Aug 2010, Pages: 21
Hogan Lovells has significant presence in Mongolia, since it's been involved in major projects such as TT or South-Gobi through its Mongolian partner GTS Advocates. There are few points international investors expect from the Mongolian companies: respect financial reporting standards and disclose relevant information, a responsible and fair corporate governance and application of external regulations. If proper reform were conducted and if MSE were regulated by international standards, Mongolian companies and investors would consider more seriously getting listed domestically.

They will support for strategic considerations such as pre-IPO restructuring, composition of enlightened board of directors or financial analysis and forecasting. Adequacy of disclosure and other considerations –dividend policy, option schemes and tax- when going public will also be discussed.
