The telecoms markets of South East Asia

South East Asia is a region of contrasts, particularly when it comes to telecoms. While mobile penetration is more than 100% and still growing in some countries, in others telecoms infrastructure is woefully inadequate and penetration is extremely low. The wholesale market is well developed in Singapore and developing in a few other countries, but it is yet to become firmly established across the region.
