Highlights
- The main trends seen during the month include a year-on-year increase in total contract value. Deals valued under $50m accounted for 78% of the total deal volume.
- Defense agencies contributed 42% to TCV and 21% to total deal volume. The value of deals signed in the telecoms sector increased more than five times Y-o-Y. Northrop Grumman secured the highest TCV in September 2010.
- The TCV of deals signed in the Asia Pacific region more than tripled. TCV of application development deals increased significantly Y-o-Y. Of the total contracts set to expire in the next six months, 14% are network management deals.
