Cloud Coalition: rPath, NewScale, and Eucalyptus Systems Partner on Self-Service Public and Private Cloud

In August of 2010, newScale, rPath, and Eucalyptus Systems announced an integration of their flagship products. This “Cloud Coalition” partnership delivers a comprehensive solution for self-service ordering and provisioning of cloud-based services. The partnership goes beyond a surface integration and includes policy-based configuration and version control, role-based access and governance, and service metering. EMA sees this announcement as a significant step forward in the maturing of the cloud, and one that empowers IT organizations to more easily take advantage of the benefits of public and private cloud services.
