Markets and providers often expect buyer preferences for IT offerings and providers to differ according to the relative size of buying / acquiring firm. Expectations of Cloud IT providers and services have followed this pattern. This research indicates that there are in fact few size-based differences when it comes to buyer preferences for Cloud IT providers, and very similar preferences regarding Cloud IT services overall. This Strategic Perspective looks closely at size-based differences in preferences for Cloud IT providers, and the reasons behind these – and behind the overall lack of differences.
