Worldwide IaaS, PaaS, SaaS Adoption Plans - 2010 Survey Results

The 2010 Global Cloud IT survey reveals the plans of worldwide enterprises of all sizes in acquiring Cloud IT solutions for IaaS, PaaS and SaaS. Across geographies there is significant variation, but not as significant as across categories of Cloud IT, i.e., IaaS, PaaS and SaaS. Differences in the relative maturity of Cloud IT solution categories, and therefore their suitability for production IT, account for variations in the overall planned rates, although again there are considerable differences, especially by geography, which we examine and discuss in this Strategic Perspective.
