Most commercial banks’ credit shrank in 2011, whilst private lenders raised their rates, which were much higher than the standard rates in the review period. Low-income consumers, as well as young consumers, will be excluded from consumer lending in the short term, as the government has announced the raising of the deposit reserve ratio, and controls the size of credit throughout the year.
