America Movil has merged operations with fixed-line providers Telmex and Telmex International to become an integrated telecoms operator. It is currently focusing on bundled offerings and multi-play services as well as expanding 3G network capacity to drive the next phase of growth. Integration of newly acquired operations and stiff competition from regional and local players are among its key challenges.
