New Zealand - VoIP and Fixed-line Voice Market - Statistics and Overview
Paul Budde Communication Pty Ltd, Dec 2010, Pages: 7
The VoIP services market in New Zealand has begun a period of transformation, which will continue over the next few years through local loop unbundling and other regulated products. Increasingly small and medium enterprises are installing VoIP as part of larger ICT solutions aimed at cutting overall operating costs. While the fixed-line voice market (voice calls and local access) continues to lose overall share of the telecom services market, call prices and volumes continue to drop and the uptake of mobile services continues. In this report we provide an overview of the voice and fixed-line voice market with market statistics, and a brief overview of fixed-to-mobile convergence trends.
