Technology report on the triple wavelength laser diode for PS3 Blu-ray Disc supplied by Sony

The Sony SLD6562TL features 3 lasers (blue, red and infra-red) and a photodiode in one 5-pin package. The blue laser (405nm) is used for BD reading, the red laser (650nm) for DVD reading and the IR laser (780nm) for CD reading. The laser diode uses a stacked dies configuration.
