China’s Sugar Market Analysis and Forecast Report (2010-2011)

Beijing Shennong Kexin Agribusiness Consulting Co.,Ltd, February 2011

The national sugar production continued to slide during the 2009/10 campaign, the pattern of supply shortages caused the hike of sugar price. Under the environment of global agricultural prices rising, the lower price of sugar is gone forever.

In the 2010/11 campaign, sugar production can’t increase largely due to small increase in sugar crops acreage and disastrous weather, so tight pattern of sugar supply will continue. It is expected that sugar price will keep high side in 2011 thanks to the droughts in a large part of Brazil (major original country), large increase in the cost of raw material sugar import and short sugar supply in the domestic.

For the purpose of comprehensively and correctly analyzing the characteristics and trends of China’s sugar market performance in 2011, this report reviews the main changes in China’s sugar market in 2010, it also analyzes and summarizes from national policies, supply, demand, trade , sugar substitutes production and so on, also with large amounts of data and charts together.

In-depth understanding of the development history and trends of sugar industry, this report forecasts china’s sugar market in 2011, and offers systematic, true, accurate references to those who are more concerned about China’s sugar industry.
