This database quantifies the number of affluent individuals and the aggregate onshore liquid assets they hold across 10 liquid asset bands from USD50k. It includes Brazil, Canada, Mexico and the US.

The number of affluent individuals in the US fell once again in 2009, with the number of individuals with over USD50,000 in liquid assets declining to just over 86 million.
The total value of affluent liquid assets for the region was slightly up on 2008, standing at USD21,932 billion at the end of 2009. However, it is predicted that it will take until 2013 for the market to surpass 2007 levels.
