Summary
Arizona Public Service (APS) invested around $296m in Chino Valley and Hyder Solar PV Projects with a total installed capacity of 20 MW and 17 MW respectively in Arizona. The projects are a part of APS’s AZ Sun Program, according to which the company plans to develop 100 MW of utility owned photovoltaic power plants, where SunEdison would develop the project and APS would take ownership of these plants on completion The Hyder project is expected to come online by 2011, whereas the Chino Valley Project will begin operating in 2012.
