2010 U.S. Metro Carrier Report Card

2010 U.S. Metro Carrier Report Card is the latest edition of the industry' s chief benchmarking study of wholesalers and their performance by their local wholesale customers. In addition to performance in key areas by leading carriers, the study examines product trending and which products customers anticipate increasing and/or decreasing spend in the coming year.
In response to the highly competitive metro wholesale market for both data and voice services, the authors conducted a survey of local wholesale customers to identify the strengths and weaknesses of the metro/regional wholesale providers. The survey was conducted from the middle of June 2010 through mid-August 2010 and yielded 1,639 carrier ratings from 382 different customers. the authors hope to help wholesale customers make informed choices about their underlying carrier, and to help investors better understand their providers. Most importantly, the report is geared to carriers identify specific strengths and weaknesses reported by their customers in order to improve both their operations and the success of their wholesale customers' businesses.
