CEO Challenge 2010: Top 10 Challenges

In sharp contrast to the results of the CEO Challenge 2008: Top 10 Challenges, Financial Crisis Edition (Research Report 1440), which emphasized concerns about global economic performance and business confidence, respondents to the latest edition of the annual survey of CEOs, presidents, and chairmen indicate that growth issues will be their top challenges for 2010.
Participants in the latest survey, which was fielded from October to December 2009, place such challenges as sustained and steady top-line growth, customer loyalty/retention, and profit growth among their top 10 challenges. Government regulation, which was 26th in the last survey, also entered the global top 10 challenges for 2010.
