This research report presents shipment volume forecast and recent quarter review of global broadband subscriber base by region, as well as Taiwanese DSL and cable modem equipment shipment performance. Further analyses include shipment volume, shipment value, ASP, manufacturer volume rankings, price trends, and product functions and technologies. Also examined are production locations, shipment destinations, business types, and OEM/ODM customer portfolios. The content of this report is based on primary data obtained through interviews with DSL and cable modem equipment makers. The report finds that Taiwanese broadband CPE shipment volume and value continued to grow in the second half of 2010. Although dropping in the first half due to the traditional off-season effect, both shipment volume and value are expected to still score year-on-year growth in the first half of 2011.
