B.L. Harbert International began construction operations in 2000 under the leadership of Billy Harbert, Jr., whose new company is carrying on a family tradition in the international construction industry dating back to the `40`s. His father, Bill Harbert, co-founded Harbert Construction Corporation in 1949 with his brother John. From highway and heavy construction, that company quickly expanded into pipeline, industrial and building construction, both within the United States and throughout the world.
