After a warm winter across south-eastern Australia in 2011 led to sluggish growth of only 3% in volume in 2011, a second warm winter in 2012 led to negative volume growth of 5%. Value growth on the other hand remained positive at 2% in 2012, although this represents a huge drop from the 12% experienced in 2011.
