Latin America Telecoms Investment in 2010

At the start of 2009 there were some announcements of Latin American telcos cutting back slightly on investments in response to the global crisis, although earnings reports indicate that their commercial activity was more or less unaffected, with continuing growth in mobile and broadband services in particular.
This makes for an exciting 2010 as operators revive the plans that did not make it in 2009, as well as preparing for legislative changes in certain countries that could give an added incentive, particularly for TV services.
This report pieces together the few investment announcements that have been made for 2010 and compare with the figures available for 2009.
