OSS/BSS Transformation in Latin America

A search through the BNamericas story archive confirms the prediction that software providers like Oracle and HP were making over a year ago: increasing demand for next generation Operations and Business Support Systems (OSS/BSS) - or even a new willingness to deploy them, in the case of groups that previously depended on in-house solutions.
There have been at least a dozen support systems contracts reported so far this year, compared to half that number in all of 2009.
In this report BNamericas discusses Latin American operators' readiness to upgrade their systems and how they are making the most of them.
