Abstract
NEW YORK (Standard & Poor's) March 21, 2011--Standard & Poor's Ratings Services raised its underlying rating (SPUR) on Bucks County Public Schools Intermediate Unit No. 22, Pa.'s revenue bonds series 2001 to 'A+' from 'A'. The outlook is stable. The upgrade reflects our opinion of the unit's extremely strong market value, very strong income levels, strong reserves, and favorable debt profile. 'We anticipate management will maintain the intermediate unit's strong financial position while continuing to provide the necessary services to its member districts,' said Standard & Poor's credit analyst Steve Tencer. Bucks County Public Schools Intermediate Unit No. 22 serves an estimated population of 624,253 located in Bucks County in southeastern Pennsylvania.
