PhoCusWright's The Customer Web: Content, Context, Mediators and Customer Feedback
PhoCusWright, Dec 2010, Pages: 11
There is much discussion, both online and offline, about how the Web will evolve. In this paper, we examine one aspect: the Customer Web and what it might mean for the travel industry. We consider both the extensive amount of information that modern travelers (both leisure and business) need in order to plan and complete a trip, as well as the reasons they must deal with a multitude of applications and services to meet those needs.
We then look at some technology concepts that will improve the information available to travelers, and discuss how the Web is evolving to meet those needs. We also examine how companies are listening to the voice of the customer to ensure that the information they provide meets travelers' needs.
Key Topics Include:
- Introduction
- The Customer Web for Travel
