A range of search options: Search up to 12 months at a time and retrieve up to 99 thousand records Configure and save search templates and report formats for easy periodic updating and comparison. Search templates offering Basic, Advanced, and Miscellaneous search fields help in locating specific information quickly:
- Basic search criteria: Find the basic who, what, when, and where of U.S. trade with the world. Smart Fields automatically hunt for search terms through multiple fields to capture more data. For example, a search for olive oil in the product field will scan AMS commodity descriptions, PIERS standardized product names, and Marks and Numbers.
- Advanced search criteria: Conduct more detailed searches, such as shipments by bill of lading number, carrier, or Twenty-foot Equivalent Unit (TEU) count. Or use Smart Fields to search across multiple fields for a key term—a company name, for example.
