Beauty and Personal Care Packaging in Russia

Sales of premium products have suffered in beauty and personal care. Premium fragrances’ sales and, respectively, glass packaging, have dropped by 0.4%. Sales of perfume during the first half of 2010, according to industry sources, have shown 15% growth in value compared to the same period during 2009. However, it is largely an effect of the low base in the pre-crisis year. According to trade press estimations, perfume has barely restored its pre-crisis volumes.
