The nova-Institut is globally active in market research, industrial and political consultancy, project management and online media within the field of 'renewable resources'.
For almost 15 years the 15 staff members of the institute have been analysing the global markets of fossil and agricultural resources and their applications.The aim is to enlarge the use of biomaterials in the industry by means of valuable market data and broad technical information as well as supporting the market initiation and marketing.
At the Congress on Bio-Materials met in 2009 in Stuttgart, material experts, developers, producers and users of different industries met to exchange ideas. The newest material and product developments were presented and discussed, including bio-material applications in the automotive industry, construction, consumer goods and packaging.
Bio-materials are based completely or in relevant measure on agrarian raw materials or wood. Typical regenerating raw materials are strength, sugar, vegetable oils and Lignocellulose (wood, natural fibers, straw) as well as special bio molecules such as lignin or india rubber. The portion of these nature raw materials in the material is to amount to at least 20%.
