Technical professionals need to communicate in writing yet they often find it difficult. Our Pyramid Method of Writing helps technical people visualize a document and provides a logical structure for the content. It's a formula and technical people relate well to formulas.
Since 1972, RGI has specialized in teaching technical people to write. All of our instructors come from technical backgrounds which makes them feel comfortable working with technical professionals.
These eight online courses introduce a structured approach to writing and apply that structure to writing business letters, long and short reports, and proposals. A separate course provides instruction on writing and using e-mail effectively and one course is dedicated to common grammar and style issues. This is a self-paced course with extensive practical exercises and the opportunity to send four assignments to an RGI instructor for feedback. Total instruction time is estimated at 14 hours.
