The insurer financial strength and financial enhancement ratings on the members of the ACE Capital Re Group (ACR; see table 5) are based on the following: Extremely strong capital. In 2002, ACR's capital adequacy was extremely strong at 204% as measured by Standard & Poor's stress test for the portfolio of risk underwritten and discreet allocation of capital by transaction for potential loss exposure volatility.
