The 'AA' financial strength, financial enhancement, and counterparty credit ratings on Assured Guaranty Re Ltd. are based on the company's solid capital position and strategic relationship with sister company Assured Guaranty Corp. (AGC). Assured Guaranty Re Ltd. (formerly Assured Guaranty Re International Ltd.) and its subsidiaries Assured Guaranty Re Overseas Ltd. and Assured Guaranty Mortgage Insurance Co. are collectively known as AG Re. AG Re's strategic relationship with sister company AGC should provide it with a pipeline of diversified investment-grade reinsurance business.
