Abstract
The financial guaranty insurance industry has been around for 35 years. Ten years ago, in recognition of the 25th anniversary of the industry, Standard & Poor's Ratings Services published a retrospective on the industry that included a segment titled 'CEOs: A View From The Top,' wherein the industry's chief executives made some forecasts about the future direction of the business. In this report we look back at those predictions and ask the current chief executives of the 'AAA' rated primary bond insurers to update their expectations as well as comment on possible future trends for the industry.
