Abstract
Standard & Poor's Ratings Services has assigned its 'AA' long-term rating to the town of Plymouth, Mass.' series 2011 general obligation (GO) municipal purpose loans and affirmed its 'AA' long-term rating and underlying rating (SPUR) on the town's existing GO debt. Standard & Poor's has also assigned its 'SP-1+' short-term rating to the town's GO bond anticipation notes being issued concurrently. The rating is based on the strong credit quality of the town and demonstrated market access.
