BOSTON (Standard & Poor's CreditWire) May 30, 2000--Standard & Poor's today assigned its 'SP-1'-plus rating to California Community College Finance Authority's $133.62 million TRANs series 2000A dated July 5, 2000, due June 29, 2001; $45.69 million TRANs series 2000B dated July 5, 2000, due Aug. 3, 2001; and $43.24 million TRANs series 2000C dated July 5, 2000, due Oct. 4, 2001. The notes are scheduled to sell June 1, 2000. The rating reflects the overcollateralization of the TRANs bonds' par amount at about 10% to address the possibility of debt service deficiencies in the 39 participating community college districts.
