SAN FRANCISCO (Standard & Poor's) June 9, 2006--Standard & Poor's Ratings Services assigned its 'SP-1+' rating to California Community College Financing Authority's $75 million series 2006-2007 TRANs. The rating is based on the pledge of unrestricted fiscal 2006-2007 revenues by the individual community college districts under their TRAN resolutions. Each series is a several obligation, with no district having the obligation to make up any deficiency of another district. "The participants' general credit characteristics are strong," Standard & Poor's credit analyst Joon Kang said.
