Standard & Poor's Ratings Services assigned its 'SP-1+' short-term rating to California Community College Financing Authority's series 2007A pooled TRANs. The rating is based on the pledge of unrestricted fiscal 2007-2008 revenues by the individual community college districts under their TRAN resolutions. Each series is a several obligation, with no district obligated to make up another district's deficiency. The bond proceeds will be used to purchase the notes; all rights, titles, and interests in the notes will be assigned to the trustee for the benefit of the owners of the bonds.
