Abstract We assigned our 'A-' long-term corporate credit rating to Beijing Enterprises Holdings Ltd. and 'A- issue rating to its proposed senior unsecured notes. The rating incorporates 'moderately high' extraordinary support from the Beijing municipal government in the event of financial distress. The stand-alone credit profile of BEH is 'bbb+', reflecting its satisfactory business risk profile and an intermediate financial risk profile. The outlook is stable, reflecting the stability of the company's gas transmission and distribution business, and its strong liquidity and financial flexibility.
