Abstract
Standard & Poor's Ratings Services assigned its 'AA' rating, and stable outlook, to Oklahoma County Independent School District (ISD) No. 89, Okla.'s series 2011 general obligation (GO) bonds. At the same time, Standard & Poor's affirmed its 'AA' rating, with a stable outlook, on the district's GO debt outstanding. The rating reflects what we view as the district's: Inclusion in the diverse and expanding Oklahoma City regional economy and labor markets; Continued economic expansion, supporting healthy tax base growth, Historically good financial performance; and Low overall debt burden, coupled with rapid principal amortization.
