Abstract NEW YORK (Standard & Poor's) April 29, 2011--Standard & Poor's Ratings Services today said that its rating and outlook on Carle Foundation, Ill. (A+/Stable) are unaffected by the recent disclosure that the State of Illinois does not plan to renew certain managed-care contracts with Health Alliance, a Carle subsidiary. While Standard & Poor's views this development as a credit risk over time, the rating agency lowered its rating on Carle to 'A+' from 'AA-' on April 4, 2011, in part, due to the state's delay of managed-care payments to Health Alliance.
