Abstract
Standard & Poor's Ratings Services affirmed its 'AA' ratings and underlying rating (SPUR) on Illinois Finance Authority's various health care revenue and refunding bonds outstanding, issued on behalf of the Advocate Health Care Network (AHCN), which is based in Oak Brook, Ill. At the same time, Standard & Poor's affirmed its 'A-1+' short-term ratings on the authority's series 1997B and series 2003A-C bonds, issued on behalf of AHCN. AHCN continues to be a very well managed health system that enjoys a leading market position among hospitals serving Chicago and the surrounding suburbs.
