DALLAS (Standard & Poor's) March 20, 2007--Standard & Poor's Ratings Services assigned its 'A' rating to Catholic Healthcare West, Calif.'s (CHW) $1.2 billion hospital revenue bonds, series 2007, issued by various issuers. In addition, Standard & Poor's affirmed its 'A' standard long-term rating and underlying rating (SPUR) on CHW's approximately $2.9 billion in outstanding bonds, issued by various issuers. The outlook is stable. "A higher rating is possible with continued successful financial results, coupled with notable improvements to CHW's liquidity position, although any upward rating actions will be balanced against expected future debt issuances," said Standard & Poor's credit analyst Kevin Holloran.
