Standard & Poor's Ratings Services affirmed its 'A-' underlying rating (SPUR), with a stable outlook, on Illinois Finance Authority's series 2006A variable-rate demand bonds and series 2006B auction-rate securities, both issued for Rush University Medical Center Obligated Group. The Obligated Group is made up of three health providers that own and operate four hospitals located in the greater Chicago area, each with a distinct service area and governing board. The flagship health provider is Rush University Medical Center (RUMC), located just west of downtown Chicago.
